Intro Hi I’m Ant. I’m Australian born photographer. I was born in Darlinghurst Sydney in 1968. I grew up between Sydney and the Southern Highlands NSW.

I studied Photography in Sydney in 1998 after a couple of years spent travelling around Europe, Canada, South East Asia and throughout Australia. I began my career shooting at Australian Consolidated Press shooting for Fashion magazines and then evolved into a career in advertising photography.

Having spent my teen years in rural NSW I found a deep love, appreciation and connection to the land and the Australian landscape and its people. I lived and worked on dairy farms in my later teen years, which gave me a deep understanding and respect for working and living on the land and how to work with the elements.

My work has taken me around Australia and overseas featuring in National Geographic, Penguin Books, Telstra, Macquarie Bank, Expedia Travel, Madison Magazine, Random House, ING Bank, ANZ Bank, Vanuatu Tourism, Visa Card, Hyundai, NSW Farmer Magazine, Dairy, Australia and the Australian Macadamia Society to name a few.

I love working both with and against the elements. I love shooting real Australian faces and places. I have more recently spent the last few years regening, breeding my own cattle and expanding my skills with heavy machinery and working daily on the land here in the Byron Hinterland where I live with my small family.

I have also recently attained my remote Pilots licence {RePL} and begun working with drone photography as well which I love. I have a love of nature and travel, being in the outdoors makes me feel alive. I am deeply curious and I love the intimate nature of working behind the camera.

I love what I do. Behind the camera is where I feel most at home. I feel blessed to be given the opportunity to work doing something I truly love every day.
